Legislators offer fateha for blasts victims

PESHAWAR: Legislators in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, while expressing extreme condemnation over two bomb blasts which claimed six precious lives including a DSP, offered fateha for the departed souls.

Deputy Speaker provincial assembly, Khusdil Khan was presiding over the session.

Speaking on a point of order soon after recitation of Holy Quran, Provincial Senior Minister, Bashir Bilour said terrorists on their last leg and can not succeed in demoralizing police and people by targeting them.

He highly appreciated the performance and sacrifices of provincial police in the ongoing fight against militancy and extremism.

Bashir Bilour said people are standing side by side with security officials. He said government would not bowed down in fight against terrorism through such tactics.

"We will continue to flight with militants till the time of war against terrorism reaches to a logical conclusion when the peace is restored and the region is purged from such elements," he remarked.

On this occasion, a number of MPAs requested the chair to all house to offer fateha for the victims of the blasts. MPA, Hafiz Akhtar Ali also requested the chair to also offer fateha for two persons killed by an American in Lahore.

Deputy Speaker, Khusdil Khan asks MPA Mufti Kifayatullah to offer fateha for the departed souls.
