Pakistan claim famous victory at Lord's in a Test packed with drama. In a breathtaking test cricket, England fought bravely but Pakistan’s powerful bowling attack sent its batting line-up for 207 runs to win first blood in this four-Test rubber.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has congratulated the Pakistani cricket team on winning the historic victory at Lords against England in the first test match.
The Prime Minister praised the wonderful performance of Misbah-ul-Haq, Yasir Shah, Rahat Ali, Muhammad Amir and all the remaining players who performed brilliantly under the captaincy of Misbah-ul-Haq. In addition the Prime Minister said that the Pakistan cricket team has been established well and won hearts of the whole nation as well as cricket lovers internationally.
He said in his message, if morale is far above the ground then Allah grants successes. He as well congratulated the nation on the historic victory.
Moreover, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar have also congratulated the Pakistan cricket team. CAOS General Raheel Sharif had also telephoned Pakistani test cricket captain Misbah-ul-Haq and congratulated him on winning the match against England.
