imageKARACHI: Pakistan's 3-0 humiliation at the hands of England has created a bleak scenario ahead of ICC World Twenty20 Championship, former chief coach and Test opener Mohsin Khan said on Tuesday.

"Pakistan should have outplayed England in all departments of T20 series. Instead they lost the winning matches which was greatly hurting, disappointing and demoralizing," he told APP in an interview while recording his reaction on Pakistan's sixth successive defeat in ODIs and T20Is.

"Afridi's team literally threw the winning matches in their own conditions and environments which was deeply embarrassing," stylish opener said.

"Our's is formidable team in limited overs cricket. But it is being technically destroyed because of serious lack of planning and cohesion," he said.

"Players are playing for themselves instead for the country. We lost the last T20 matches because of tactical errors and any strategy," he added.

"Poor team combinations, personal likes and dislikes proving lethal for the team and evident from results," he said.

"I feel sorry and ashamed the way Pakistan team lost six straight matches after Test series 2-0 and opening One-dayer," he said.

"This is the worst case scenario in preparations for upcoming World T20," he stressed. Millions of cricket supporters were deeply demoralized with such a defeats.

"There clear lack of unity and fighting spirits which leads to disaster," he said.

"Winning and losing are part of the game. But the way we lost was unforgivable." he remarked.

He said performance of Pakistan declined during the tenures of Dav Whatmore and Waqar Younis during the past three years.

"They both failed to achieve anything notable for Pakistan team during their era," he said.

He praised England paceman Chris Jordan for his awesome bowling in super over.

"Eoin Morgan keeps faith in Chris Jordan despite being punished in the match," he said.

"Motivating the players is vital ingredients of the game which poorly lacking in Pakistan team," he concluded.
