Former Pakistani spinner Saqlain Mushtaq believes that Pakistani cricket team can surprise everyone with their killer performance in an upcoming World Cup. Mushtaq also feels that they will be a different team when they face India in their World Cup opener next month.
According to local media reports, Mushtaq said in an interview, “Although Pakistan have never won a World Cup match against India, their approach should be positive. Pakistan players are fighters who are unwilling to give up easily. Most of our cricketers have learnt the game at the grass-roots level and many haven’t attended any academy but they have that killer instinct to help them become positive cricketer”.
“On their day, Pakistan can do wonders, and India must be careful of this killer instinct,” he added.
Praising Pakistani cricket squad for the mega event of cricket, Saqlain warns Indian cricket team to be careful of Pakistan’s bowling attack despite of Saeed Ajmal absence from the squad.
Saqlain also insists that although Pakistan recently suffered from back to back defeats but still in position to beat India in World Cup match if players show their natural game.
