ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange witnessed bearish trend here on Thursday as the ISE-10 index was down by 24.28 points and closed at 4418.68 points.
A total of 222,900 shares were traded, which were up by 80,900 shares when compared with previous day's trading of 142,000 shares.
Out of 155 companies, share prices of 51 companies recorded increase while share prices of 104 companies registered decrease whereas no company remained stable in today's trading.
The share price of Pakistan Tobacco increased by Rs. 36.33 per share while the share prices of Sanofi Aventis Pakistan decreased by Rs. 32.05 per share.
Bank of Punjab, Lafrage Pakistan Cement and K-Electric remained the top trading companies in Thursday's trading with 101,400, 100,000 and 15,000 shares respectively.
