PESHAWAR: Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has released Rs11 billion so far to the quake affected districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for distribution among the people affected by the natural calamity on October 26 last.
A Spokesman of PDMA told APP Tuesday that in addition to the earlier release of Rs8.50bn to the quake hit districts, Rs2.5bn were transferred online on emergency need basis to the affected districts.
Giving of the Rs2.5bn breakup, he said Rs750 million each were transferred online to Chitral and Upper Dir districts, Rs400mn to Shangla and Rs600mn to Dir Lower district so that the affectees could make their houses reconstructed at earliest.
The Spokesman said all the affectees is being provided food and non food items including tents, blankets to protect them from winter season.
