FAISALABAD: Five butchers were arrested for selling meat of dead animals, in the jurisdiction of Jhang Bazaar police station.
According to officials sources, Assistant Commissioner City Shahrukh Niazi along with DDO Livestock raided at Jhang Bazaar and got arrested 5 butchers for selling meat of dead animals.
The accused were identified as Abdur Razzaq, Asif, Nawaz, Imran and Gulzar.
The raiding team seized 150 kilogram meat and destroyed it.
Police have registered a cases against the accused.
