ISLAMABAD: Former Chairman Pak Jammu and Kashmir Chamber of Commerce Zulfiqar Abbasi expressed hope that Pak-India working group would discuss international banking system to improve bilateral trade and put an end to old system of barter trade.
Talking to VOA, Zulfiqar Abbasi has expressed concerns over decline in cross border trade volume LoC that started in 2008.
He said "At least 400 trucks traveled across LoC weekly which has now declined to 40 trucks so we have deep concerns in this regard".
He said Pak-India trade cannot be expanded until increase in list of items.
He added that all the matters must be discussed in working group meetings and decisions should be taken in the interest of both sides of the people.
