QUETTA: At least three police personnel were injured in a blast at Qambrani Road near Kachibaig area of the provincial capital on Wednesday
. SSP Sariab Police Abdul Waheed Khatak said that the blast was occurred when a vehicle of patrolling police team was crossing the area.As a result, three police personnel received wounds and were rushed to civil hospital.
The SSP said that 3 kg improvised explosive devices (IED) was planted beside the road by unidentified men.
The injured were identified as head constable Muhammad Ashiq, constable Ghulam Fareed and constable Abdul Ghani.
The police vehicle was partially damaged in the explosion.
Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the entire area to trace out the suspects.
