KARACHI: Prominent leader of the business community, S. M. Munir has been nominated as Member, Board of Directors of Export Processing Zone Authority (EPZA).
A notification has been issued by Federal Ministry of Industries and Production that Chief Executive, TDAP S. M. Muneer has been given additional responsibilities as member Board of Directors EPZA, said a statement issued on Tuesday.
President, Karachi Industrial Alliance, Mian Zahid Hussain, President KATI, Syed Farukh Mazhar, and others have congratulated S. M. Muneer on becoming the member, Board of Directors-EPZA and said that giving responsibilities to the people of good repute is a good sign.
Mian Zahid Hussain said that S. M. Muneer would play active role to improve the performance of EPZA due to his vast experience and exports of the country would also be increased.
It is noted that S. M. Muneer has been appointed as Chief Executive, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan before few months by Prime Minister whereas he is also Vice President, Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Patron-in-Chief KATI, President, Indo Pak Chamber of Commerce and Former President, Federation of Pakistan of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).
