LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said there is a need to work hard day and night for bringing about a real change and Prime Minister Imran Khan and his team will come up to the expectations of the people.

While talking to a delegation of notables from Dera Ghazi Khan at the CM office here Saturday, the Chief Minister said the change had come for the better future of the people and now the journey for a new Pakistan had started under the leadership of PM Imran Khan.

He said that the people of south Punjab would get their rights and solid measures would be taken to overcome crimes and all-out resources would be utilized to protect life and property of the people.

The Chief Minister said that the same reforms would be introduced in the Punjab Police that had been implemented in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

A comprehensive strategy, he said, would be formulated to change the attitude of police, adding that theft of cattle, snatching of motorcycles and other crimes would be controlled in Dera Ghazi Khan and strict action would be taken against those involved in the street crimes across the province.

The members of the delegation said that the election of Sardar Usman Buzdar as the Chief Minister was the proof of a real change. They said the new CM was a harbinger of change in the underdeveloped and far-off areas of the province.

They congratulated the Chief Minister on holding the office and expressed their best wishes for him.
