Bykea - Pakistan's largest network of motorbikes for transport, logistics & payments is making it easy for people to pay their bills from the comfort of their homes.

Despite being one of the largest countries in the world, only a fraction of people have access to bank accounts and even fewer use digital banking channels. Bill payment remains an effort for the masses, who must visit a nearby bank’s branch every month in order to get the job done. K-Electric, Karachi’s sole power utility just made things simpler and quicker for their customers by partnering with Bykea.

In order to pay their utility bill, customers can now simply call 0307-1234567.

Once a call is placed, customers are required to share their consumer number as well as the billing amount along with the relevant details. Subsequently, a Driver Partner will visit the customer’s location and pay their bill right at the doorstep. The whole process is quick, simple and anyone with a landline or cellphone can make use of the convenient facility. Smartphone users can do the same through Bykea Cash which offers a range of services from bill payment to IBFT and mobile top-ups.

Safety is paramount in these times; to keep you safe and to be more transparent, all Driver Partners are required to check their temperatures at the start of their shifts. They also must wear masks and gloves throughout the day. Combined, this makes BYKEA a much safer option than physically visiting a bank’s branch for bill payment.
