KARACHI: The Sindh Government on Wednesday extended the ongoing Covid-19 lockdown in the province including Karachi for another 15 days till July 15, 2020, a notification issued by Sindh Home Department said.
According to the notification, it has been decided to maintain the restrictions as previously. Business centres will be allowed to open five days a week from Monday to Friday from 6am to 7pm.
Complete lockdown would be observed on Saturdays and Sundays. However, pharmacies and other essential services are allowed to operate seven days a week.
The notification further said that the citizens can avail the facility of home delivery till 11pm. It has been decided to maintain the ban on educational institutions, cinemas, entertainment venues, sports activities and wedding halls.
