imageISLAMABAD: Government's decision to convince Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to review their resignations was a commendable step for strengthening the democracy.

This was the opinion of analysts while talking in current affairs programme of Radio Pakistan.

PML-N Senator Let Gen (R) Abdul Qayyum said that MQM leaders were reviewing the decision of their resignations for which credit goes to Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif who has been continuously playing unprecedented role as a statesman.

"PML-N will welcome MQM lawmakers if they come back to the Parliament", he added.

He said that MQM has people's mandate and they play a role in the Parliament.They also took back the decision regarding de-seating of PTI lawmakers to save the country from uncertainty.

He said that operation against terrorists in the country was going on in positive direction and networks of militants have been broken.

JUI-F leader Hafiz Hameedullah said Karachi operation was against target killers and not any political party.

Defence analyst Mehmood Shah said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took very good step by giving go ahead to JUI-F Chief for pursuading MQM leaders to come back to the Parliament.

He said a number of target killers had been killed and several arrested in Karachi operation and it was going in a positive direction", he said.
