0railway-station 400LAHORE: Railway authorities cancelled eight trains on Tuesday due to demonstrations and sit-in at Shahdra Railway gate by Imamia Student Federation against Quetta bomb blast.

 

The decision was taken by Pakistan Railways Lahore Division. The passengers of major trains including 8 Down Tezgam Express,113 Up Faisalabad Express,14 Down Awam Express,16 Down Night Coach, Karakorum Express, 10 Down Allama Iqbal Express had to turn back due to the cancellation.

 

According to an official of Pakistan Railways, all the trains would be restored as the protest ends.

However, local trains were shuttling in line with the schedule.
