imagePrivacy on the internet has become one of the major issues facing the online world, we hear stories about massive data breaches carried out by professional hackers all the time.

Our social media accounts i.e. Facebook, Twitter etc are also most susceptible to it, and getting hacked is all too normal in this day and age. But as they say it is better to prevent than to cure, if one got a suspicion that someone else has penetrated into their social media accounts, they could check and it’s not that hard either.

Now, how to check your privacy on Facebook

As per Gizmodo, for Facebook, head to Settings from the main drop down menu, and then open the the Security page. Secondly, click Edit at Where You’re Logged In, here you can see all the browsers and devices i.e. linked to your Facebook account.

imageNow, if some activity sounds suspicious then click End Activity to log out remotely, or just click End All Activity to log out from everywhere.

One can also see the apps and computers you’ve set up as “trusted,” just click Edit at Your Browsers and Apps, one can also remove any of these with a click.

Now for Twitter

Firstly, log into the Twitter website, click the white egg (profile and settings) and go on the toolbar and choose Settings, then click the Your Twitter data page. Here, one needs to enter password again.

imageHere, one can see Account history and Login history, under the Login history settings one can see all the phones, browsers, and apps used to connect to twitter.

One can also check their apps if one is seeing some suspicious logins from third-party app, then you can go to the Apps tab and cancel the access from the app in question.
