Pakistani actor Shaan has criticized Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Happy New Year’ a rip-off from Hollywood comedy ‘Ocean’s 12’.
According to local media reports the ‘Waar’ star said, “‘Happy New Year’ is ‘Oceans 12’. Let’s be honest. They have to realise that they don’t have any scripts anymore, whatever scripts they have, it starts to become an art film”.
“We actors don’t have to win votes, so we don’t have to belittle each other. Actors can still be friends. We can still make good films and go beyond boundaries. That will only happen if major stakeholders like Shah Rukh or Aamir will shoot a film in Pakistan,” he added.
Reportedly, Shaan is currently in Abu Dhabi to discuss the growth and prospect of the Pakistani film industry at the ‘International Showbiz Expo’.
Pakistani actor Shaan is one of the most refined actors in Pakistani cinema, he recently made an incredible performance in Pakistan’s highest grossing movie ‘Waar’, while his latest release ‘Operation 021’ couldn’t grab much audience attention.
Shaan will be seen again in another Pakistani movie ‘Gidh’, whose short teaser was released last week.
