imageKARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, has directed Inspector General of Sindh Police and all DIGs Police in Sindh to ensure foolproof security of all worship places, Eidgahs, shopping centres and highways in the province during Eid-ul-Azha.

A CM House statement here on Sunday said that he asked the police officers to enhance their patrolling, further activate intelligence network and deploy the police pickets at important places, shopping centres, Eidgahs and installations to avoid any untoward incident.

It said that the Sindh Chief Minister while taking a serious notice of firing on vehicles at bus stop of Reen Shakh, National Highway near Kazi Ahmed on Sunday, has directed the police officers concerned to ensure foolproof security of the passengers on National Highway and other Highways.

He also directed DIG Police Hyderabad to take immediate action against the culprits involved in this crime and report to him.

The Chief Minister said that specially during the Eid Holidays, when people are travelling to their native places to celebrate Eid with their families, the criminals become active and come on roads to commit robberies.
