KARACHI: The city Police launched a massive pre-dawn targeted operation in Landhi area against probable terrorist outfits, said SSP East Imran Shaukat on Wednesday.
He said total 500 police officers and commandos are participating in the targeted operation.
The police has so far arrested an allegedly notorious gang leader identified as Hanif alias Cheeta, a proclaimed offender wanted in police officer's murder case.
The police has also recovered one Kalashnikov and two pistols, the SSP East said.
