sher-azam-wazir 400PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Labour Minister and Provincial Vice President Pakistan Peoples' Party, Sher Azam Wazir said on Thursday the withdrawal of contempt court notice against Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf is another success of party policies and victory of justice.

Talking to media persons here, he said this decision would help bury the propaganda of political opponents regarding clash and confrontation among institutions and will strengthen democratic institutions in the country.

He said the Supreme Court decision in Asfghar Khan case has exposed the real faces of conspirators and political jugglers for stealing the mandate of PPP during 1990 election.

Wazir said PPP is ready for election and will win it with overwhelming majority because it enjoys the trust of masses.

He said we have already completed our homework and we will contest election on the basis of performance and expressed optimism that masses will not disappoint us.

Wazir said democratic system and institutions are being strengthened with each passing day.   The effects of strengthening and stability of democratic system are becoming visible and practical works on the Government's welfare agenda has already been started showing tangible results.

He said hundreds of thousands of poor people are being financially assisted under Benazir Income Support Programme to bring them into national mainstream. The PPP leadership was working day and night for progress and prosperity of people.

He said people have identified faces of those elements who believe in politics of negativity and confrontation and will reject them with ballots. He said Government would complete tenure and will emerge victorious.
