KARACHI: Business Recorder, the first financial news daily of the Muslim world, celebrated the auspicious month of Ramadan with Iftar at the prestigious Avari Towers Hotel in Karachi.
The media group behind Business Recorder, Aaj News, PlayTV and KHI Stocks honored luminaries from both the media and advertising industries at the poolside event, hosted by Business Recorder's Web arm. Since its re-launch last month, the publication’s online presence has increased its readership three-fold, welcoming a whole new readership demographic to the Business Recorder family.
The event comprised of various industry leaders from megabrands PSO, L’Oreal, AKD Securities, IBA and TNBT among others, and turned out to be a great networking event with good food and even better conversation.
Several guests stressed the importance of such events that would lead to beneficial and more open relationships between the Business media and respective industry captains.
After serving of Iftar, the Web team spoke briefly about the products and the exciting prospects yet to come with the launch of KHI Stocks. The atmosphere was warm and friendly facilitating an exchange in ideas, including but not limited to, how those reporting the news can be more unbiased while those responsible for creating it, more transparent.
With notable guests including Photographer Tapu Javeri, Fashion Designer Wardha Saleem and Artist Raana Khan the intimate affair pleasantly concluded in a positive light.
