She said, "Earlier, quarterly Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT), Rs 4,500 was being given to BISP's registered beneficiaries women," adding that now on the special instructions of Premier Nawaz Sharif, this financial aid had been increased to Rs 4,700 quarterly.

She said that after holy month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak, new survey would be started in Nasirabad, Kech Turbat and Qila Saifullah districts to bring more women in the network of BISP in order to extend financial assistance to maximum number of women.

"Making women, financial empower is our motive and the incumbent government has been paying special attention in this regard," she said.

Marvi Memon said that BISP had been extending its network in Balochistan in order to get more women registered in the programme so that maximum number of families could get financial assistance under this programme.

"No doubt, BISP has been helping in poverty elimination and improving life standard of people," she added.

She said that some elements had been creating political instability and chaos by their so-called protests and sit-ins and the Premier Nawaz had been taking solid steps to bring Pakistan in the ranks of financially powerful countries.
