ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Wednesday expressed grief over the loss of precious lives in a road accident near Khairpur, Sindh.
The Prime Minister extended condolences to the families of the deceased and directed provision of best possible medical facilities to the injured.
At least 16 people were killed and 20 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck, at Mehran National Highway.
The Prime Minister also asked the authorities for measures to ensure better road safety so as to avoid recurrence of such incidents.
