Avril Lavigne engaged to Chad Kroeger

KARACHI: Avril Lavigne is getting married to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.

The couple celebrated engagement by partying in Las Vegas. They have been quietly together
for six months.

The 27-year-old singer met Kroeger, 37, in February to co-write a song for her upcoming
fifth studio album.

“A romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together,” sources near the
star said.

The marriage will be the second for Lavigne but it is Kroeger’s first.

The “Let Go” hit-maker is also into the perfume business.
