ISLAMABAD: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan tops as the most favorite male voice musician in Pakistan.
While Atif Aslam and Abrar ul Haq make top two and three respectively. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked "Out of all the contemporary male singers, which one do you like the most? (Please chose only one option)".
Responding to this, 12 percent say that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is their favorite singer, seven percent opt for Atif Aslam, six percent say Abrar ul Haq is their favorite singer, five percent opt for Jawad Ahmed and five percent opt for Ali Zafar, four percent say Sonu Nigam is their favorite, three percent for Shaman Ali, two percent for Shahzad Roy, two percent for Mehdi Hassan and two percent for Raheem Shah whereas 39 percent cite others as their favorite male singers.
However, seven percent said that no one is their favorite and six percent did not give a view.
