After departure of foreign players due to coronavirus threat, all-rounder Hammad Azam has been included in the Peshawar Zalmi squad with immediate effect. Hammad's inclusion has been approved by the event technical committee, which includes PCB CEO Wasim Khan, Bazid Khan, Marina Iqbal, Sameer Khosa and Dr Sohail Saleem.
Following the Pakistan Cricket Board's decision to provide an option to squad members to withdraw from the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League 2020, players and coaching staff of different franchises are returning home. The PCB is not only facilitating the foreign players safe return to their countries but also bringing the players' replacements following the Event Technical Committee's approval, as per the HBL PSL 2020 regulations.
