Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister on Tourism Asif Mehmood has said that the Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP) will hold Thal Jeep Rally from November 15 to 17 at Muzaffargarh and Layyah.
He expressed these views while talking to renowned folk singer and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Abar-ul-Haq who was visiting the TDCP office here on Wednesday. TDCP Board of Director Chairman Dr Shoail Zafar Cheema and the TDCP MD were also present on the occasion.
The Advisor briefed Abar-ul-Haq about the ongoing projects of TDCP. He said that TDCP has been acknowledged for setting trend in tourism; "it has taken several initiatives to promote culture and heritage of different tourist destinations in Punjab."
Abar-ul-Haq said that the PTI government should take every measure for the promotion of tourism and added that the opening of the Kartarpur corridor is a big step towards promotion religious tourism.
