Bollywood has just released another remake of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s old classic ‘Kinna Sona’ for an upcoming film ‘Marjaavan’. The movie stars Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria and Ritesh Deshmukh in the lead roles.

The song has similar lyrics and music but the original credits have been given to another remake sung by Indian singers Anuradha Paudwal and Sukhwinder Singh.

This latest remake has been sung by Meet Bros and Dhvani Bhanushali. The song is a romantic soulful number and quite pleasing to the ears but couldn’t match the intensity the Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan had brought into his hit song.

It has been raining remakes in Bollywood film industry since quite a while now. Bollywood has had a long and illustrious history of plagiarism, especially in music. They are mostly creating remakes of old classics, while some hit the right chords others are just poor rendition of iconic hits.

Khan's music has been adapted by many Indian movies and musicians in the early 1990s and many of the remakes were blockbuster hits.
