Only months after getting engaged in a private ceremony, Pakistani actor Sheheryar Munawar has revealed his engagement with fiance Hala Somroo has been broken.

Sheheryar Munawar got engaged in a ceremony in Karachi early this year, which created lot of buzz among fans. However, the actor has now called off his engagement.

In an interview with The Current, the ‘Parey Hut Love’ actor was asked about the most daring thing he has ever done. To this he said, “Telling my mother that once I tried on your call, and you yourself ended it. But this time, I’ll choose the girl I want to get married to.”

Without spilling any more details Sheheryar changed the topic with a cheeky reply, “Smart people will be able to take the cue.”

Soon after the interview went viral, this news did not entirely come as a surprise for many. During the promotions of his last release ‘Paray Hut Love’, he said he has no plans to marry any time soon which only fueled speculation that he was no longer committed to Hala. His growing closeness with actor Maya Ali also added fuel to all the speculations.
