BEIJING/HONG KONG: China will issue 5 billion yuan ($722.15 million) in yuan-denominated treasury bonds in Hong Kong on June 20, the finance ministry said on Monday.
The Ministry of Finance said in a statement that it would issue a combined 15 billion yuan worth of yuan-denominated treasury bonds overseas in 2019.
Thursday's issuance will include 3.5 billion yuan two-year bonds and 1 billion yuan five-year bonds, according to a Hong Kong Monetary Authority statement issued on Monday afternoon.
