Selena Gomes teases new album after four year gap

After a long gap of four years, Selena Gomez will soon return with another album, as she hinted about her next project in a TV show ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’.

From kidney transplant to breaking up with boyfriend The Weeknd and taking medical facility to treat depression, the ‘Same Old Love’ singer has seen a lot in last four years. Without revealing much, Gomez said, “I'm actually done,” she said. “I have to do a few finishing things with it, but I'm just relieved. It took me four years now to even feel at a good place with this album”.

Her last album ‘Revival’ came in 2015 and now she said she is trying new genre and new instruments for her new album.  Speaking about what fans can expect from her next album, she said, “I think there's always going to be a sense of strong pop in my music, but I definitely explored more with electric guitar, a lot of more soulful tracks underneath things, acoustic guitar”.

“It all kind of hits different places that I feel like is my lane for music. I love everything that I get to do and be a part of, but specifically something that connects with people on an emotional level is my favorite,” she added.
