Pakistan cricket players conducted a coaching session with aspiring cricketers at Taunton, just days ahead of their encounter with Australia.

“I think it’s very important for kids to meet and interact with the stars that they see on television, it is especially encouraging for the youngsters and it will be beneficial for them,” said fast bowler Hasan Ali.

Pakistan will face the title-holders at Taunton on Wednesday. The Men in Green have won just one of the last 14 one-day internationals against Australia.

Pakistan veteran all rounder Mohammad Hafeez admitted that Australia is a ‘tough’ opponent, however the team is carrying the momentum after their victory against hosts England in the tournament.  “Yes, we don’t have a very good record against Australia because they play tough cricket but every day is a new day,” said Hafeez.

“This is a World Cup and we now have momentum after our win over England.”
