PCB grants Imad Wasim extra time as World Cup nears

All rounder Imad Wasim is expected to join the Pakistan squad for the upcoming World Cup 2019, despite not passing the fitness test that 22 probables underwent on Monday.
As per ESPNcricinfo, the all-rounder will undergo a fitness test ahead of the World Cup, Imad has been recovering from a knee injury, and the PCB officials are optimistic that he will pass the fitness test for the World Cup 2019.
Meanwhile, Pakistan would announce its 15-members squad for the World Cup 2019 today (Thursday). Pakistan will depart for England on April 22, where they would first participate in a five ODI series against England prior the World Cup.
The team will then play against Afghanistan and Bangladesh in the tournament warm-ups before opening its World Cup campaign against West Indies on May 31 at the Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
