Pooja Bedi announces engagement to boyfriend Maneck Contractor
Forty-eight-year-old former Bollywood actress Pooja Bedi has announced her engagement with long time boyfriend Maneck Contractor.
Pooja in an interview revealed, “I'm engaged. The love of my life proposed to me in a hot air balloon, hundreds of feet high up in the sky! As he slipped an exquisite ring onto my fingers, my eyes filled with tears,” Times of India reported.
Pooja and Maneck have known each other since their school days. Though they weren’t that familiar with each other back then and until last year when they met at a Maneck’s restaurant in Goa.
“The beauty of our relationship is that it has been effortless in every way. Our families have merged beautifully. He has a wonderful open-hearted, jovial, Parsi family, who welcomed me. My kids, too, adore him. He is extraordinarily kind and cooks up a storm in the kitchen, which is an incredibly sexy quality,” she said.

The ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’ star also revealed that she will tie knot later this year according to availability of her children.
She got divorced from ex-husband Farhan Furniturewalla in 2003. She has two children Aalia and Omar with him.
