Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz was not allowed to see her ailing father in Kot Lakhpat prison on Eid day (Wednesday). In a tweet, Maryam lashed out at the incumbent government saying: "What we are facing today, they will face this in future." It may be added that Maryam had requested the authorities concerned for a meeting with her father but she was declined to see her father.
Nawaz's family physician Dr Adnan visited Kot Lakhpat prison and examined the former PM. He said that Nawaz health condition has deteriorated a day earlier in the early morning. He was facing problem in breathing. He asked the jail guards for help, sources said.
