April, 2019: Revenue collection of RTO-II Karachi up by 20 percent

Regional Tax Office (RTO)-II, Karachi has witnessed 20 percent growth in revenue collection during April, 2019. According to provisional statistics, the RTO-II, Karachi has collected Rs 6.755 billion in April as compared to Rs 5.628 billion collected during last corresponding month, depicting 20 percent growth.
The office has collected Rs 6.150 billion under the head of income tax and Rs 605 million as sales tax in April, showing 19 percent and 32 percent growth, respectively as against the collection of Rs. 5.168 billion in income tax and Rs. 459 million in sales tax made during last corresponding month.
Similarly, the net revenue collection of RTO-II, Karachi up to April, 2019 is stood at Rs 74.878 billion, which is 18 percent higher than the collection of Rs 63.663 billion made during preceding period.
