Romania sells 697.8mn lei of Oct. 2020 treasury bonds

BUCHAREST: Romania sold a more than plann ed 697.8 million lei ($171.20 million) of October 2020 treasury bonds on Monday at an average accepted yield of 3.48 percent, ce ntral bank data showed.

Debt managers last tendered the paper in November at an aver age yield of 3.75 percent.

Romania has sold 40.6 billion lei and 361 million euros of d omestic debt this year. The finance ministry has also tapped for eign markets for 3.75 billion euros of 2028, 2029, 2030, 2039 Eu robonds and $1.2 billion of 2048 dollar bonds.
