Anushka Sharma speaks out about rumoured pregnancy

As  Bollywood's star couple Anuskha Sharma and Virat Kohli soon complete one year of their marriage, rumors have been rife about the actress being pregnant with her first child. However, Anuskha has rubbished all the speculations.

Some media outlets had been carrying reports on how Anushka hasn't announced any film after ‘Zero’ because of her 'preganancy'. The actress finally addressed the ongoing rumours, calling them silly.

Responding to all such rumours about her being pregnant, Anushka said in her latest interview to Hindustan Times that people always speculate. “That [spreading rumours] is something people will do anyway. It’s completely unnecessary and silly, as you ultimately can’t hide such a thing. You can hide a marriage but not pregnancy,” Anushka said.

She further said that every female actor faces such rumors about her. “I feel every female actor goes through it. People marry you off even before you are hitched and make you a mother before you are pregnant. I don’t pay attention to it, and just laugh these things off since I find them hilarious. When I read about such stuff, I think, ‘where do such absurd things come from?’ Right now, I’m literally working round-the-clock,” she said.

Meanwhile, as for Anushka not signing any movie after ‘Zero’ is concerned, the actress has already earlier cleared that she wants to take some time before she gets into another project.

For now she is waiting for the release of ‘Zero’ which will also have Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The movie will hit theatres on December 21.
