After acting, Kareena Kapoor to pursue her career as RJ

After proving her mettle in Bollywood film industry, Kareena Kapoor Khan has turned towards the radio field. ‘Veeray Di Wedding’ actress is looking forward to make her debut with a radio show which is reportedly to air this December.

The actress broke out her new project on Wednesday with a special photoshoot at a Mumbai studio. She did confirm the news in a statement given to Mumbai Mirror, saying, “I couldn’t have asked for a better start on this platform. I am doing my first radio show and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it”.

According to a source close to the development, Bebo has conferred the idea with her close friend Karan Johar who pushed her to take the dive into this project. Just like Calling Karan [Karan Johar’s radio show] this one too will air on Ishq 104.8 FM. It will give listeners a chance to interact with Kareena, who is expected to start recording for the show in the coming days.

On the work front, Kareena will be seen in Karan Johar’s period drama ‘Takht’ with other stars like Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
