Pakistan Defence Day remind us great bravery of armed forces: Parliamentarians

ISLAMABAD: Parliamentarians on Wednesday said that the Defence Day of Pakistan reminds us of great bravery, valour and invaluable passion of the armed forces as well as the nation.

Talking to media outside Parliament House, Humayun Akhtar Khan said that the whole nation would pay tribute to those martyrs and veterans who rendered great sacrifices for the defence of the country on September 6.

He said that the day remind our new generation about the sacrifices of our armed forces and people of Pakistan for the defence of the country.

Senator Let Gen Retired Abdul Qayyum said that the nation would pay glowing tribute to the national hero’s on September 6. He said that September 6 is reminding us the sacrifices rendered by the armed forces and people of Pakistan.

He said that it is very important for the whole nation to celebrate the day with national enthusiasm. He said that our armed forces which were full of passion of the defence of the country defeated the enemy and failed its nefarious designs.

Senator Nauman Wazir Khattak also said that Pakistan Defence Day would be marked with National enthusiasm and spirit, adding that the Day is special occasion to remember of our National hero’s who rendered sacrifices for the country.

The unique example of national unity has realized the enemies of Pakistan that this nation is fully united to effectively counter any threat to national security and survival, he added.
