LONDON: European stock markets wavered at the start of trading on Thursday, with London's FTSE 100 index up almost 0.1 percent to 7,798.99 points.
In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 added 0.2 percent to 5,576.65 points, compared with the closing level on Wednesday.
On the downside, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index declined 0.2 percent to 12,995.94 points.
