Despite wardrobe crisis, Mahira Khan dazzles in black at Cannes
So the moment came when Mahira Khan finally graced the red carpet of the 71st Cannes Film Festival with her presence and her anxious fans were eagerly waiting since a long time to catch a glimpse of her.
The ‘Bol’ lead actress wore a black off-shoulder dress and carried it off with bold red lips. Unfortunately Mahira had to wear her substitute dress after the original one got stuck at customs. However, this did not stop Mahira from enjoying her moment, as she still rocked her Cannes red carpet debut even in her back up dress, with confidence, glamour and grace.
On her way to walk for cosmetics giant L’Oreal Paris, Mahira took to Twitter and wrote, "On my way guys. Dress didn’t turn up, but it’s raining and I’m nervous but maybe it's a sign. Rain and I have an old relationship."

Mahira was even captured meeting Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor, who wore a Ralph and Russo lehenga, completing the traditional look with her hair loosely tied in a braid and adorned with 'parandi'.
The newly-wed Sonam and Mahira even shared a cute moment before stepping out to the red carpet. Sonam was seen planting a kiss on Mahira’s forehead, with the latter smiling sweetly.
Days leading up to the actual red carpet event at Cannes, Mahira wore some dazzling outfits during her time spent there. She pulled off all her looks and fore sure looked stunning.
