Salman Khan's miffed with Karan Johar

After Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Salman Khan has never joined hands with Karan Johar for any movie till date. They share a love-hate relationship with each other as there is always a silent bitterness between the two.

KJo reportedly tried to make things better between them and offered his next film to him. While Karan had his fingers crossed, waiting for a confirmation from Salman, the superstar simply procrastinated. Recently, news broke that Salman and Akshay Kumar will join hands with Karan for historical movie ‘Battle of Saragarhi’ but it also did not work out and ‘Dabbang’ Khan opted out of the project.

A source revealed, “We don’t know what happened. But Karan backed out of his commitment to launch Aayush Sharma [Salman’s brother-in-law], leaving Salman livid. He immediately opted out of ‘Battle Of Saragarhi’, which will now be co-produced by Karan and Akshay”.

“The only reason Salman agreed to join hands with Karan was for Aayush’s launch. When Karan opted out of that commitment, Salman saw no reason to stick to his commitment,” the source added, Indian media reported.

Apart from professional relationship, they both share good rapport with each other. Salman has also appeared on KJo’s popular talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’ in his last two seasons.

On the other hand, Salman Khan will now launch Aayush through his own home production.
