Bigg Boss replaces Salman Khan with a new host
Salman Khan has hosted the controversial reality TV show for the past seven years and finally the Bollywood star is ready to part his ways from the Color’s flagship show but the question remains on who will be his replacement.
According to a report in the Quint, the show makers have already found another perfect host in Akshay Kumar who has not less if not equal star power than the ‘Tubelight’ star. For years Salman Khan has tried to leave the show but couldn’t do it, the source said:
"Salman has been wanting to opt out from Bigg Boss for some years now. Every year he announces he won't do Bigg Boss as it impinges on his other commitments and makes a heavy demand on his time. But now he is seriously not keen to go on. Akshay Kumar with his huge connect with the masses is seen as the best replacement."
“But Colors (the channel that airs Bigg Boss) and Endemol (the show’s producers) are very keen to get Akshay. They will get him,” the source added.
Akshay Kumar will not only be replacing Salman Khan in Bigg Boss but rumor has it that the ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ star will also be hosting ‘Dus Ka Dum’ another one of Salman’s show that airs on Sony TV.
