Indian actress Anjali Srivastava has reportedly committed suicide at her Andheri house in Mumbai. She hang herself to death. When the owner of the house opened the door with a duplicate key, she was found hanging.
According to police, Anjali’s family members from Allahabad had been trying to call her since Sunday night, but she did not respond on her mobile. Worried about her safety, the family contacted her landlord, who called the police and they entered her home on the fifth floor in Parimal Society on Juhu Road with a duplicate key on Monday afternoon. They found the 29-year-old actor hanging from the ceiling fan from a sari, presumably having committed suicide, Hindustani Reported.
Police searched her residence but did not find any suicide note or anything suspicious. Her body has been sent for an autopsy to R. N. Cooper Hospital.
Anjali Srivastava was a popular face in Bhojpuri film industry. Anjali recently shot for her Bhojpuri film, Kehu Ta Dil Mein Ba, also starring Aditya Kashyap, Gopal Rai, Prem Dubey, Raja and others in pivotal roles. She has appeared in quite many Bhojpuri films earlier.
The reason behind her suicide remains unknown. No suicide letter or anything has been found from her home.
