KAMPALA: The yield on Uganda's benchmark 91-day Treasury bill rose a notch at an auction on Wednesday where a total of 180 billion shillings ($49.63 million) worth of debt of various tenors was on offer.

The central bank said in a statement the rate on the bill climbed to 10.647 percent from 10.470 percent fetched at the previous sale on April 26.
