KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling was weak on Tuesday due to the dollar demand from banks and foreign-owned firms looking to pay dividends, traders said.
At 0753 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,650/3,660, weaker than Friday's close of 3,640/3,650. Markets were closed on Monday as it was a holiday.
