NEW YORK: The dollar extended losses against the Swiss franc on Monday as fears of a Greek default and the risk of contagion hitting the region's banking system spurred investors to place bets on the traditional safe-haven currency.
The dollar fell to a New York session low of 0.8801 franc, according to Reuters data. It last traded at 0.8828, down 0.1 percent on the day.
