imageKARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) awarded central contracts to 21 players with across the board increase in remunerations.

"Following its approval by PCB Chairman Shaharyar Khan, PCB Women's Wing has announced award of its Central Contracts for Women for the calendar year 2015," it said in a statement issued on Friday.

"In all, 21 women players have been offered the contract. These contracts have been given to women cricketers for their outstanding performance and progress they have shown in domestic and international events throughout the year 2014," it said.

The one-year contract is effective from January 1, 2015 and is divided into four A, B, C and D categories. Category A: Sana Mir, Bismah Maroof, Javeria Wadood, Asmavia Iqbal Category B: Nida Rashid, Sadia Yousaf, Sumaiya Siddiqui, Marina Iqbal, Syeda Nain Fatima Abidi, Sania Iqbal Category C: Kainat Imtiaz, Sidra Nawaz, Rabiya Shah, Anam Amin, Naila Nazir, Sidra Amin, Nahida Khan Category D: Fareeha Mahmood, Maham Tariq, Aliya Riaz, Iram Javed.
