ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Turkey Sadik Babur Girgin Monday called on President Mamnoon Hussain to extend invitation from the Turkish President for attending the 100th Commemoration Ceremony of Canakkale Land Battles to be held on April 24.
The President, on this occasion, said that people of Pakistan were looking forward to welcoming the Turkish Prime Minister.
The President also asked the ambassador to play his role for enhanced investment by Turkish companies in all sectors of priority particularly energy, infrastructure, urban development and low cost housing, said a press release.
The President further urged that both Turkey and Pakistan should work to increase cultural collaboration and enhanced people- to-people exchanges.
